Well, I finally convinced DH to add the Deluxe Dining Package to our Nov trip. We normally just pay OOP but with the increased cost due to holiday dining, I really think the DDP is the way to go. We spent a FORTUNE on food on our June trip. Our room bill was the price of a family of fours moderate vacation package! :rotfl:

So, any tips for WDW veterans doing the Dlx DDP for the first time?

I printed out the Dis list of snacks. :thumbsup2

What I'm really concerned about is keep track of all the meal credits and making light breakfast meals out of the snack credits.

I made 11 ADRs (one for a signature meal so that's really 12 credits used). So that leaves us with 9 credits for counter service meals or room service - I'm all for room service!! :rotfl2: (we have 21 meal credits to use)

Just feeling a little overwhelmed right now since I made all our ADRs in July and now had to add ADRs with HORRIBLE times!

Can anyone fill me in on what you get at the Main St Bakery for a counter service credit??

Also, can I get a Chai Latte in the AK Tea shop under a snack credit?

I appreciate any and all tips you can give me. :goodvibes

I promise to take tons of food porn photos! :rotfl2:

I would like to know also...I have done the same thing and will be there in Nov. Having all these ADRs is a bit overwhelming

I just did the DxDDP and thought that I had it all covered. What DH and I learned was that at Beaches and Creme, we'd split the burger. Even though we've done DDP several times, the DxDDP was alot of food (and I'm not dissing it, we loved it).

One our last day, we travel down to South Florida to stay at my parents place on the ocean for week - this enables us to leave WDW whenever we feel like and we don't even have to shower...so we hung out at the quiet pool and ordered a feast of room service...IT WAS INCREDIBLE.

I can't remember the name of it, but in the lobby of the YC, they set up coffee in the morning and bagels, IIRC, many many of those items are snacks.

Make sure you do the buffet b-fast at the Captain's Grille. We learned that the YC/BC have so much to offer, we were cancelling our ADRs and just eating at our resort. Beaches n cream, CG's, HH. I'm envious of your upcoming trip.

I don't even have one planned yet. I'm nudging DH toward DL this year, he's Disney'd out and would like to take a break and mentioned San Diego :worship:
