DAY 2
We got up early at about 7.30am and got up showered and dressed, I stepped out to look on to the balcony and saw the strange sight of easily a thousand CM turning up for work, walking across fantasia gardens, it was really amazing to see just how many they were, it was like a constant stream of people.
We had breakfast in the lounge and were seated by the window, with a perfect view of main street and seeing all the days guest arrive for there good morning breakfast. At breakfast they was fresh fruit, pine apple, strawberries, grapes, melon, kiwi, waffles, and bread, as well as salmon, eggs, bacon, and sausages and a selection of cereal. It was all very filling and perfect start to the day. A very excited and playful Pluto was present and he leaped around the lounge, and demanded people to stroke him,
After breakfast we went down to the shop and got DD an autograph book and pen, we then got tiger and Donald’s autograph at the hotel before we headed to Disneyland park via the lift.

We enjoyed a stroll down main street and bumped in to stitch so DD got his autograph and a picture,

after that we headed straight to Dumbo before the queues built up and had a 3 minute wait.

We then decided to go over to Discovery land and queued up for tickets, I queued up with DD while DBF sat down and waited, a CM played with the children in the queue which was nice. After we got our tickets for the 11am show we went to ride buzz, we did not need to use our fast pass and it didn’t cut any queue out. DD and DBF had the guns and enjoyed the ride, though DBF thought it should be longer.
We then went to café Hyperion where we had coke, orange juice and shared some fries, before we headed to the theatre to see the lion king. We have never seen it before and we really enjoyed it, especially DD who loved it. The performers all came down at the end and said hello to everyone which was really fun.
After the lion king we then got the train to Frointerland and used the VIP fast pass again to ride BTM, I really love this ride as I always notice something different each time, the little details are really good. DBF then decided he did not like this ride as it was to cold and made him queasy so this was the last time he went on it.
Next up was POTC, which we all love; we like to spot things from the movie.
We then wandered from Adventure land back to fantasyland where we went on Peterpan, tea cups and Casey Jnr . We headed to central plaza and sat on a bench while we waited for the parade to start, DD wanted to get Daisy autograph and my thought was “are you mad, you want to go in that scrum” she was definitely the most popular character present there, with a very big crowd around her, however DD pressured me to brave it and we managed to get our self’s in the scum, and after 10minutes had no luck however we did get it when Daisy minder pulled Daisy back from the crowd and then Daisy came to the little kids and gave them her autograph. It was impossible to get a photograph though.
We then watched the princess parade, (for what would be the last time ever) and DD noticed that snow white was nowhere to be seen. After the parade we made a dash down the under cover walk way to go and get afternoon tea. We then had a lot of cakes, pastries, tarts and tea. Afterward we had a break in the room before going to dinner at steakhouse in the village.
We really liked this restaurant and the CM were very good, I asked some questions about the wine and the CM went and got some one who spoke better English, who then gave me great advice on what wine to choice, and his recommendation tasted lovely. To eat DBF had caeser salad to start and I had tomato and mozzarella which was lovely, We both had Rump steak which was well cooked and very lean. We had no room for desserts due to the huge amounts of cakes we ate at afternoon tea. DD fish and chips which was nice, and the fish was shaped like a fish, cute touch!
We then went to the Castle Club lounge where DBF had a jack Daniels and coke which cost 10euros(coke free) and I had a class of pink champagne which cost 12euros, DD had a children’s cocktail which as a soft drink was free, very nice extra.
We could also see them out side rehearsing the new parade and testing the lights on the castle, so we even had some entertainment.

We then went back to the hotel where DD hid the coins they leave on your pillow all around the room and when we told her to find them she had forgot where she had put them all and only found 4 out 6 of them.

Today the weather was very cold however it stayed dry.

A lovely day, Claire, it sounds like you got a lot done. I would love to see the Lion King show, it sounds great. The food sounded really good again.
