ok, so we've booked Sequoia lodge for 2 nights from April 1oth and I need some good advice from you Paris specialists.

We arrive at CDG at 08:35, after we get the VEA and check in we will probably be park-ready around midday.
I have booked the half board package what time do you reckon I should book lunch for? I was thinking around 1:30? do you reckon we'll definately be in there by then? also any particular restaurant recommended for extremely fussy child of 11 (not mine, I hasten to add, this is Callums best friend who does that really annoying thing of ordering EVERYTHING on the menu and leaving it all - Grrrr!).
I was thinking that lunch would be more beneficial the first day rather than dinner as we have to get up around 4 in the morning.
also, any recommendations for the next evening? any good buffets? (I'm thinking buffet as then the fussy little bugger can pick and choose his own food)

I think 1.30 should be fine for a 08.35 arrival, I think annettes diner in the village would be a good choice though it is in the village and I don't think you can book in advance for it, however it does tend to be quite in the day anyway.
The resort hotels do buffet meals and The luckey Nugget salon does a charactar meal buffet.
You can check out the menus before you go on this website.

I find it helpfull to be able to check that there is something that DD can eat so its very usefull.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon has an extremely good selection at it's lunch time buffet, although this is a Character Meal so would cost a little more.
I'd also highly recommend Plaza Gardens, they do an all in buffet, we tried it a few years ago - it was superb - everything from pizza and salads, to roast pork/chicken and vegetables, definately one of the best value for money meals we've had and the desserts were to die for.:goodvibes

I agree and 2nd the Plaza gardens.

The afternoon tea was excellent value for money and the cheapest table service" meal we had all week! (plus charactors!) I wished we'd gone sooner as we would have returned!

Thank you for the help, I'll book the Plaza gardens I think. Do they take bookings at a set date prior to going, ie 180 days?

You can book up to 60 days in advance at DLRP, Carol. The phone number is 00 33 1 60 30 40 50.
