DLRP did well visitor wise last year.

Thanks for posting - makes interesting reading!:goodvibes

IMO the Walt Disney Studio's always has seemed like the poor relation compared to the Disney Park at DLP. For example; the revamp of the Park Parade for the 20th anniversary and from what I've heard other than take out the show in the Podium the Stars and Cars parade is the same! Also the lack of restaurants in the Studio's compared to the Park!

We have a good time at the studios, however I am not surpised it doesn't do as well as can imagine that there are a lot of casual day trippers and school trips to Disneyland Paris who will only do the one park.

The Magic Kingdom parks are the sentimental favorites across all of the Disney resorts (WDW, DLP, TDL) according to this list. I think the difference between DL and DCA is the most glaring, even more so that DLP and the Studios. If this Carsland doesn't boost attendance significantly at DCA I think heads will roll.

The studios really need a few more E-ticket attractions before it is a truly multi-day or even full-day park. Toy Story Land didn't do it.

Toy Story Playland actually impressed us last week as we'd not seen it before.

It's really well themed. Better than Pixar Place at DHS. I think with a small budget they did well.

If they could add in a Toy Story Meet and greet and TSMM it'd make it an amazing area.

As it stands I think it's cute, well themed, shame about the low budget rides, but it means WDS is slowly getting there.

Ratatoille will definitely help too. :)

Indeed, although the rides were low budget parachute drop and RC racer are actually high on my list ride-wise, I love them! Slinky is really bad though, but it's good that they catered for young children with the new land as well :)

As lame as Slinky is (for adults) I'm really glad they put it in as our little boy who was barely 2 on our last visit is crazy about Toy story and has been since he was tiny (he never watched kids tv, just toy story over and over!) and would have been really upset if he couldn't have gone on anything there! Now he's a bit older he's most looking forward to going on the parachutes next week!

I think all things considered it's good that WDS got a place in the top 25 at all. After all there are bigger and better theme parks than WdS on it's own. I always forget its separate to be honest and just think of it like another 'land' of DLP.

Still shocked DLP had more visits then Epcot! I guess I'm
Just biased as I love that place lol!

These figures are good for Disney, just goes to show who does have the best theme parks in the world.

Nice to see Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea were well attended considering the problems that hit Tokyo after the earthquake and considering the park had to close for a few weeks due to power supply problems.

The way the figures are calculated by the Themed Entertainment Association is are quite interesting. They are based on entry to each park per day per guest.

So for example if you have a three day ticket to DLRP, and you park hop, between DLP and WDS only your entry to the first park you enter is counted.

So like me if you go to the Disneyland Park each morning for Extra Magic Hours then go to WDS for the rest of the day, your entry to WDS is not included in this report as you entered the DLP first.
