Hi everyone,
The WDW parts of these boards have a WDW snack list, with location (and I think even prices).
I'm mainly looking for the type of snack and then the location. Where can I find that? I keep finding "best of" posts, but I'm trying to make some lists and maps for our trip.

Can you link us to that thread or page on the WDW side of the board? I'd love to see how it's set up and what's on it!

We've got many, many food-related threads and a really popular dining thread, but I don't know if anyone has put together what you are describing for every snack food there is. (Maybe I am forgetting something.)

I have a pretty comprehensive list of Fall/Halloween Time sweet and savory foods (snacks and meals), and where to find them -- no prices, though -- and I am working on one for holiday season foods, but that probably won't help you, as it sounds like you want something that is applicable year-round (i.e., Lemon Bumblebee Cupcake at the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country, etc.), and is specific to snacks (not meals).

I also have not seen a listing of available snacks at DLR, but you can find a lot of the information if you read the "best of" threads and look through the menus posted on WDWinfo.com and Allears.net. I suppose it would be possible to have a list of available snacks, but things change and prices are non-static, so it would have to be maintained on fairly regular basis.

WDW has a semi-comprehensive list because folks often ask about which items qualify as snack credits on the DDP. DLR doesn't have the DDP, so folks don't have to ask about snack credit eligible items.

It may give you an idea, though not every snack location is listed. For example, Pooh Corner in Critter Country has some awesome snacks not to be missed!

I think this is because Pooh Corner is not considered a "food service" it is considered a store.

Yes, true. I assumed at first the OP meant more food type of snacks, but just in case they wanted a sweet treat, Pooh Corner is the place to go! :thumbsup2

Allears' list of DLR dining venues does not include any of the candy/sweets shops. So things like Pooh's Corner, Candy Palace, Trolley Treats, and Marceline's are all missing despite selling a lot of edible goodies.

In terms of Allears, they rely on readers to submit menus. So sometimes the menus get updated frequently and other times they'll be quite old. That is the one flaw on relying on Allears (or any site really); the information can be out-of-date. For DLR I've noticed that the menus have been updated more often this last year, but in the past, it was not uncommon to see menus that were 6 to 12 months out-of-date.

Yes, I'm just looking for "where" to find which / the best snacks.

In many ways, DLR is not like WDW. It's not as spread out, so it's much easier to visit almost all of the snack shops without going to far out of your way (except perhaps the hotels, but those aren't mentioned too often in terms of snacks).

If you keep an eye on the threads asking about favorite or best snacks at DLR, you'll probably get most of them.

Are you looking for anything in particular? A certain type of snack?
