That's the rumor on "Inside the Magic", though it hasn't been officially confirmed by Disney that we know of yet.

No official word other than what came out of an article in Orlando when the WDW dates were released.

I know in another parade taping thread, there's been speculation on whether this would really work due to some décor being in the way of taping; it's one of the reasons they always taped it in November in the past....I doubt they would remove the big tree that would be in the way, for example, so not sure how accurate the December dates are. I'm personally hoping they're wrong, because I will be there that weekend and there's enough crowd-drawing events happening then already.

At this point, we haven't heard anything official from Disneyland either way. Personally, I'm more inclined to think the November dates are "right" for the actual parade taping based on Dance the Magic's schedule, but it's worth point out that even if the bulk of the taping happens in November there could still be some other parts that are taped closer to Christmas (e.g., I was there in 2012 when Brad Paisley filmed his portion of the holiday show in mid-December).

Also, last year they didn't tape the Christmas Parade at all, they just used old footage. So really no one knows for sure! There is a dance group thing I came across that has something going on in the DL both weekends, which makes it even harder to know what's going on. But because WDW is now filming in November the rumor is that DL is December. I don't think we will know anything until we hear reports back from people there on 11/6.

I will be there 11/7 so I will post anything I see or hear!

My cousins are going with their dance company in early November. They're supposed to be there for filming.
