DLR Only Mid/Late September Photopass Share-FULL again! (see updates in Post #1)

Some photoshares also comp the organizer's cd for the time and effort they put into the process. So, I would be happy to split the cost 5 ways to compensate justkeepswimmin for the work that she will be putting in on our behalf. That would work out to roughly $13-15 each, if others are agreeable to this plan.

I'm totally okay with this, but since our fearless leader has already posted the cost, maybe those that want to compensate justkeepswimmin could just add a "tip" to their payment. It's up to each person if they want to do the even split or add a little extra.

Edit: If the 5 of us added $2.17 to our payment, it would cover our group leader's share of the photopass.

As an FYI, they dropped the price to $59.95 earlier this summer. I checked today and that is still the price that is coming up, so the cost would be $59.95 plus the cost of cds and mailing.

That is really cool of you guys and certainly appreciated but not at all necessary. These shares are a great way to excercise my OCD issues so I do not mind at all !

Incidentally, I checked and it looks like shipping ran me an average of $2 or less per mailer last time using regular 1st class postage so w/ padded mailers running $.50 each and then another $.75 for CD/jewel case I figure we can add $3.25 per CD to the total price making each person's cost-

$10.82 (Your share of the money we give to Disney) + $3.25 (S & H)= $14.07 TOTAL COST

A great deal for UNLIMITED pictures so get ready to start harassing any photographer you see wearing those tan vests!

Let me know if that s&h amount is agreeable to everyone and I will update the 1st post.

Works for me. I'm happy to indulge your OCD tendencies as well, I find it reassuring that you're our leader!

Sounds great to me... Please PM us your address so that we can get checks into the mail. It often seems like that is where these photoshares break down so I would rather that everyone get money sent off sooner rather than later. That way, in case we have to fill in with another family later on in order to keep the price as set we will still have time on our side!

I totally know what you mean, I'm never in any pictures. I'm trying to get this years family Xmas pic out of the way with this trip. FYI, you can give the photographers your camera as well to take the same photo. They usually ask for it even.

Ditto. My DH is the family techie, but I am the one who takes all the pictures, so I have lots of DS and DH together but not so many of me and DS or the whole family!

We did have a great experience last year on Main Street during our holiday visit. I had dressed DS and DH (well DH actually dressed himself ) in matching red and gray Mickey Mouse Christmas Fair Isle sweaters, and I was wearing a gray cowl neck sweater that coordinated. An older couple stopped us on the street and said that we looked so cute as a family that we simply must get a family photo and that they would be happy to take the picture for us.

It turned out to be my very favorite picture of the trip and I only wished that it would have been taken with enough advance time to get it out as our Christmas photo for the year. I would use it this year, except that since DS is now a very active 11 month old, it would be hard to pass off the pic of him as a quiet and demure 3 month old as current !

Looks like we are all the family photographers! I started a thread awhile ago on these boards about photopass photo ops. I will try to see if I can find it and link it here or at least bump it up on the boards. There are lots more opportunities than I 1st realized and sometimes you can miss the photographers if you don't know where to look.
