Well, when I checked accuweather yesterday afternoon it was saying rain friday through monday. But it seems they have updated since I last checked it. This definitely gives me hope that it will not be raining the entire time.
I checked accuweather just minutes before we left for our hour long drive to go to DLR in december and it said there would only be rain from about 12-1. We arrived around 8am and the rain didn't stop the whole time we were there. Don't give up hope but don't put too much stock in what the forecast says either.
Some surfaces get VERY slippery in the rain, so be careful. A lady in front of us slipped and fell in the downhill area of the queue for Space Mountain.(She got right up, helped by her family; she appeared to be more embarrassed than hurt.) Outside of some rides, we were told to shake out our umbrellas before walking inside--again, things got quite slippery indoors. Shoes with traction are good.
That's a good point. DS also slipped when we were there on that rainy saturday. We were in the store at the exit of IASW and the floor in there was really slippery. DS was wearing shoes with good traction but he still slipped a couple of times and DH and I had to walk very slow and carefully not to slip too. I'm surprise they even had that store open because of how slippery it was. There was a CM trying to keep the floor dry but it was an impossible task.
