Hi all,
Total DLR newb here....I'm an east coast gal who's been to WDW many times and feel I'm an old pro when it comes to planning a trip to the FL parks!! Now looking at finally visiting The Original.
No. Clue.
I know these forums are a good place to start! Any suggestions on a particular thread or two?
My first question: what is it like there in early May in terms of crowds?....weather? I see that the Tinkerbell Half Marathon is the 7-9th next year; that was my first choice of weekends but now I'm thinking I'll back up one week.
Thanks!

Mother's Day at the parks is actually very appealing, though, so something to weigh both sides on!
, but I really think that was just a freaky heat wave that was not at all normal. Crowds were fairly low (compared to our October trips), and we were headed back home on the day of the first grad night, so we didn't have to deal with that. I think as long as you plan around the marathon, the first 2 weeks of May are a great option.
