Hi, I've been to WDW several times now, but would like to go to DLR for the first time in 2011..any suggestions on when the best time of year is to go? I was wondering specifically about early May. Probably would stay about 7-9 days, and would check out other things too(never been to California before). Would prefer to stay at a Disney hotel but am open to other places that are close to the parks.

Thanks!

There are a bunch of links at the top of the main page with ints for folks who only go to WDW. They also have pages on other sites in California. It is also a quick drive down to San Diego to Wild AnimalPark and Seaworld. Check out hydroguys tips about the best times to come. I went this year the week before Memorial Day and it was great.

Best for what? Low crowds? Maximum entertainment? Minimal refurbs? Warmest weather? Coolest weather? No rain?

Be aware some big things are coming in June 2011 and a May trip will miss them. Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, a whole new Star Tours, and Goofy's Sky Skool. :)
