DLR Dec 20 to 23rd. . .Son's B-day Trip

Okay, so I have been thinking about planning this trip for a while. However, due to "parenting" issues, there always seems to be a problem with dates. Finally, today I booked the trip. Since my son and I are AP holders we always just need a place to lay our heads but he is bringing friends this time and they like to stay in a "suite" so they can "gather" in one room and be loud teenagers at night. . .(they are not really loud, they just like to talk all night long). Their preferred place to stay is the Portofino Inn, which suites me just fine because the price is right when you are taking that many teens. It's always amazing to me how much teens eat. . .lol.

The funny part about this trip is as I kept procrastinating I figured my sons birthday would be a total bust, but the truth is that it came together magically. He requested to eat at Blue Bayou on his birthday for lunch (I figured around 11:30). I called today and (DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON) I was able to get Saturday the 22nd (his actual birthday) at 11:30 for lunch.

I guess some things are meant to happen for a reason. . .I am stoked. . .

I hear you about the BB ressie. I called 2 days ago and got a PS for Friday the 21st at 11:30. I was stunned! We will be there from the 20th-27th. Maybe we will see you around!
