Anyone else that has purchased the attraction poster pack with the 12x18 prints (which are wonderful for the price, btw) and has framed some of them, where did you get your frames? I can't recall anything I've ever had that was 12x18- is that size easy to come by and is there a decent selection at stores like Michael's?

I'm just looking for something simple but nice, frame-wise. I don't want to get into matting and using huge frames or anything.

TIA!

I found 12x18 poster frames at Michaels. They came in a 2 pack for around $12. $6-8 using coupons. They only had one kind. Just a black metal frame with glass. HTH

I got my frames at Michaels. They were the Studio Decor Michaels brand, the Trendsetter poster frame line particularly. They are plastic but actually look decent. The frame is black and is around 1/2" wide. I preferred the more substantial width frame than the alternative choice I found there which was also plastic and would have looked good too. The 12x18 frames I bought were $14.99 each regular price. Last time I got them they were buy one, get one free, and as you probably already know there are frequent sales like that at Michaels ranging from 40%-60% savings on frames.

They also had 11x17 size frames which I think are a little hard to find too. I picked up a couple of those recently so I can frame the Avengers and Guardian of the Galaxy prints my boys got at Pizza Port. Frames cost more than the promo prints, but they will look nice on their wall.

If anyone is wondering, 11x17 is the size of the print you get from the heraldry shoppe if you get your name done :)

Thanks for the info., everyone! I'll have to make a trip to Michael's tomorrow as I want to frame 5 of these.

The frames are also running about $14 on Amazon for anything above 3 stars... Never assumed it would cost more to frame them than to buy them, LOL!

Is this something that is sold in the parks? Online I am only seeing the WDW attraction poster set.

I actually just ordered them from disneystore.com and they arrived this past Monday, but I also seem to be having problems finding them online now! Maybe they're out of stock online currently?

I also got frames for mine at Michael's. They seem to be the only place that carries the digital/odd sizes. I didn't get poster frames, they are glass and wood. If you subscribe to their ad and have patience there's always a sale eventually on the ones you want. I think I got mine buy one get one 50% off and had a 25% off entire order (including sale prices) coupon.

eta: I bought mine in the parks at The Emporium and saw them in Star Trader as well.

I got my pack up near the cash register in the Emporium in January. I think they were actually hanging on hooks on the front of the register kiosk, but they were in several different locations around the store. Best souvenir ever! We each picked our favorite ride and hung them up in the dining room.

I also got frames at Michaels. Black metal thin frame for me. Nothing fancy, but the are uniform and look great. I was surprised that they had several styles in that size.

I got mine a couple weeks ago at the World of Disney store in DTD. They were at the register by the toys section. Now waiting on a sale at Michaels to frame them! I'm think my new apartment might be Disneyfied :)

Thanks, I'll keep checking online and if they don't show up, perhaps there will be some available in the stores when we are there. Those would be a great souvenir!

I ended up getting the same ones that you got because I didn't want a really bulky frame and I didn't want to spend a fortune, either. They actually look pretty nice. Poster frames sure have come a long way since I last bought some when I was in college, lol. I got them all framed up last night, but we haven't hung them up yet.

We were at DL last week, they were in stock all over the place. I saw that they were online and thought about picking them up after we left, but when the Disney Store ran the 25% off sale last week they went out of stock pretty quickly.

Cool. Glad you found the frames and like them. I thought the same thing as you did about poster frames when I discovered these. Are you hanging all the posters or just your favorites? I bought my poster pack during our New Year's Eve trip. I framed my favorite four and hung them up soon after. I finally went back to Michaels last week to buy two more frames though because I wanted to hang the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain posters too and I figured out where to squeeze them in. I've pretty much run out of wall space in my house due to all the Disney prints we have bought over the years which is a problem since we bought two cool-looking Star Wars Disney prints at Wonderground earlier this month.

I bought five (but decided to only put up four [Matterhorn, HM, SM, and Tiki Room], so I have to return one of them later this week) and I'm also running out of wall space, lol. I already had some Disney prints I bought on etsy last year of Space Mountain, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and a Disneyland TWA ad hanging in our hallway. I figured that I'd just put away the rest and I can always switch them out if I want.

I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to throw it in that I got my frames for these posters online from Walmart. They sell a 3 pack for $15.

Well, now you tell me!

:-P

No worries, I'm happy with what I got and this is good information for anyone else interested in the attraction posters.

The only place I saw the poster packs was at Five & Dime in DCA this past weekend through yesterday. The first time I saw them, I didn't buy them. Then I looked all over the place at the Emporium and couldn't find them. So, on our way out, I ran in to Five & Dime and got a set, since I knew they had them.
