DLR admission tickets bought through the app?

We leave for our first trip to DLR in a week, can't wait!

All our pre-planning is done, dining reservations are made and touring plans are mostly memorized. One thing we have yet to do is buy our admission tickets. I noticed that the Disneyland app has the option to buy and store tickets right through the app. I know these are full price tickets, about $10 higher then I might be able to get through a discount site for our three day park hoppers. We are willing to do that for the sake of convenience if it works as well as it seems like it would.

Has anyone else handled their tickets this way? One issue I worry about is that we use just one account for both DW and me; will it be easy to each bring up our own ticket on our phones if we share the same app sign on?

It's easy. They scan the phone barcode at the turnstile and then issue you a physical ticket. You can buy all tickets on one account.

Thanks, DLgal.

It's weird that this all seems so new, we are WDW know it alls!

Agree w DLgal. Super easy. I've even done it on the fly when I got a text from my son who attends USC that he was going to be able to join us for a day at Dland after all. I meet him in the esplanade. Used my iphone to access my disney account. Bought the tix; it immediately was issued electronically, and we went to the turnstile where the CM scanned it and gave him a paper tix. Whole thing took 10 min with most of the time taken to wait in the entry line.
