DLPdaft pre-trip report

As there are so many of us heading off to DLRP in the next week or so, heres my pre-trip effort .

The Cast ; me - DLRP daft (of course) 40 (and thinking of sticking there)
DD(7) - just about as excited as me about DLRP
This is both of our 5th trip to DLRP (since Feb 07 )
DSis(39), DBil(39), Dnephew(11) - all went to DLRP once before, 2 years ago.
And Dniece(8) - she came with me and DD to DLRP last November, and so has the jump on her mum, dad and brother


The Planning - I mentioned to my sis at the beginning of the year that I intended going for Halloween season to DLRP this year, she had a look at the prices, saw the early booker offer, and went for it!
We are all off to the Santa Fe, 6th to 8th October. We should arrive on the Monday morning around 10.30am, and will leave at 5pm on Wednesday to catch the TGV back to the airport.

As half our party haven't seen any of the new rides or 15th anniversary stuff, I think we're going to have a busy 3 days! I want to see all the Halloween parades, shows, characters etc, and take everyone to Cinemagique (sis and family missed this on their first visit). We haven't seen Minnies house either, and I know DD and Dniece will love this.

I've felt like I've had to be waaaaayyyyyyy more organised this trip than all the others, as there are so many of us going this time. But we all get along great, and so I'm sure it will be a blast!

Now, where did I put those walking shoes and plasters ????

Oh, DD has promised we can do POTC this time, and hopefully she'll be keen to go on BTM for the first time too (this was also closed last time sis and family went to DLRP).

I suggested to my sis on the phone yesterday that we might leave the parks before Candleabration on the 2nd day, if we'd seen it the first, and she said "there is no way Dniece will leave the park while its still open "

Minnies House is one of the buildings near Woodys Roundup - it might have been Santas Grotto last Christmas? Its all decorated in red and white, has Minnies dresses, bows etc in it.

I usually find DLRP to be a small, small world (cue for a song ).

First ever time we went, I kept seeing this woman and her child almost everywhere, in the Studios, even in our hotel.
I found out when I got home that she is someone I know from another forum (and its not even a Disney forum !)

And I'd lay bets that some of us who are all going to be there first week of Halloween season, will end up in, or very close to being in, each others photos. We'll all be reading each others trip reports, looking at the pictures, and going "oooh we were stood 2 feet away from you"
