DLP Secrets and Hidden Attractions

There's a similar thread for the DLR (California) and I thought I'd like to start one here. DW and I will be visiting DLP for the first time this October and I'd be interested in things to do and attractions that may not jump out at you. I could give you a long list for DLR, but I don't really know very much at DLP at all. For instance I could tell you my favorite spot for watching the fireworks, the hidden window for getting beignets and mint juleps, the best place to make friends with the DL cats, the best smallest eatery in the park. I'd like to know similar things about DLP, things that a first time visitor would never know about.

Its not really a secret, but be sure to go an visit my good friend the dragon who lives under the castle, he just sits there but he's cool

Also I'd recommend the guided tour if your intersted in finding out odd little things aroudn the parks. Its a bit similar to the Keys to the Kingdom tours they run in WDW but not quite as long or invovling but still great and you get a little pin at the end.

Also not really a secret but the Liberty Arcade is a great place to get away from the Main Street crowds and you can sneak into Frontierland while staying under cover on those rainy Parisian days.

My top tips would be to take time to explore Fort Comstock (DLP is the only park with a real fort at the entrance to Frontierland) and the Caves on Adventure Island, lovely and cool on hot days and one of the very best themed areas of Disneyland Paris

I love that you can walk from Main Street to Pirates almost totally undercover. Stopping off at Frontierland if you so wish!
