DLP-London?

Hi.
We are going from Denmark the 5 november, and have a spare day the 6 november, before checking in at HNY the 7. We are staying in a cheap hotel in Val de Europe.
We are thinking of visit London for a couple of hours. Bur what are the cheapest way of doing that?

Cheapest Eurostar ticket from Paris to London return is 88€.

You'd have to go from Val d'Europe to Gare du Nord in Paris via Chatelet so count about 50/60 mins travelling time.

You'll have to change trains which is why you can't get prices for your dates up but I did a dummy run for a midweek date in September. The first train departs from DLP at 07:48 (local time) and arrives in London at 09:57 (local time), the last one back leaves at 17:04 (local time) and arrives back at 20:58 (local time). Both journeys involve you taking the TGV between DLP and Lille and then changing to the Eurostar - there's only one direct train from DLP and London and that runs in the evening so not suitable for your plans. The cheapest ticket is £90 return each so it's quite a lot for just a few hours. Why don't you spend the day in Paris instead and do London another time and stay over for a couple of nights?

D'oh! I wasn't even thinking about going into Paris to take a Eurostar from there - I am so much into 'DLP mode'

I guess the Eurostar from Paris runs a lot earlier (and a lot later) therefore giving more time in London.

Earliest one from Paris is at 7.13 am (arrives 8.30 in London) and latest one back from London at 20.01 (arrives at 23.17 in Paris)

They have a train every hour inbetween these times
