Will the fireworks and parate operate any of these days or around these days?

no,unfortantly they don't start untill the middle of July, I think around the 14th

Hi normab and welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

wideeyes is right, the Fantillusion parade starts 14th July, Bastille Day, when there will also be fireworks, then Wishes starts on 15th July.

Of course there will be the daytime parade in both the Disneyland Park and the Studios but unfortunately nothing in the evening. :)

Thanks for the feedback. We are lookibg at both the Dream Castle and Holiday Inn. We are going to be bringing to the park our 6 year old grandson who lives in Germany.

We want to be able to book fairly soon. Am wondering if there ar ever sales at these two places or are the prices pretty well set.

We want the option to be able to cancel if something comes up which seems to case problems with a lot of bookings.

It looks like service may be an issue at the Holiday Inn, the pool is larger there, is closer to the park and might look better to the kids with the circus theme, however I like the king beds and the small refrigerator to be able to store drinks, etc and with breakfast at the Dream Castle I am leaning at booking there off Priceline.

There cancel policy is the best I have seen.

Any opinions?

Hello,

the Holiday Inn is not closer to the park than the Dream Castle: We stayed 15days at the Holiday Inn. The walking distance is more or less the same. It is true, a refrigerator is only in the executive rooms (we stayed in one), but they are little bit boring for kids.
Both have special offers and recently I found an offer in Germany for the Holiday with 80 Euros/night, when their hompage quoted 118 Euro. The cheapest Dream Castle offer is expedia.
