Hi folks!

I'm going to be staying 2 nights/3 days at a DL hotel (likely the Sante Fe), but I will be arriving late my day of arrival, and leaving early the day I check out, so I will really only have *1* day at the park(s). My thought was to buy a 3 day hopper because they said they do not expire for 1 year from first use (and hope I can get back later in the year - which is a possibility), but I am having trouble!

I am trying to book the hotel on the DLP web site, but I cannot seem to find anywhere to book "hotel only". When I try "tickets" only - it asks for a date (?) and only goes out until March (I'll be going in May).

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks!!!

I am not a 100% sure but I think that the tickets are always included in the overall price of an on site hotel. Maybe you could try to phone the resevations line and see what they say. An option could be look at an offsite hotel nearby and book everything seperate.

Just had a though that maybe an AP may be a good option if you think that you will be coming more than once. I think that then you can book just a hotel plus i beleive that you can get discounts in the shops and restaurants.

Before, you could book everything separate, but since some years, apparantly, they only offer full packages through the website. I think if you call their reservation line, you can book the rooms separately.

Next to that, I think it's cheaper when you book a package. I think when you add up hotel + hoppers, it's more expensive than with the package (every time we go, I calculate how much it would cost if we would book/ buy everything separately, and it would always be more expensive.)

Hmm, I couldn't find a price for an AP on the website. Any ideas?

Good thought!

Hi Jan, DLRP don't seem to market their annual passes very much. There is info about them on this site here although the prices are now out of date. The Dream pass which is valid for 365 days a year is now 179 euros and the Fantasy pass which has blackout days is now 129 euros. This is the official annual pass website here but unfortunately it is only in French.

I have found an official site for APs in Englis. It could be it was on the eurodisney sca page

I've never seen official details about AP in English, so it would be helpful if this was available :)

As others have said you need to price this out as sometimes the package can work out a better detail. Normally if you are going for more than 3 days the AP is worth exploring.

You need to phone and they will quote for it. Its not much cheaper. :stir:

For an English description of Passports

DLRP Magic

using a currency converter the fantasy works out at £88.10 and the dream £122.25

but it would seem you can only buy online via an application form in French

Annual passport application :wizard:

Sorry I should've converted it into dollars for you.

No problem with the conversion :cool1: .

It's all cool.

My thought is that I really will have only 1 day at the park even though I will have 3 days/2 nights by their standards. I won't get to the park before 16:00 the day of my arrival (and the schedule indicates they close at 20:00), and I leave early the day I depart (so no park for me then!).

So, if I bought the 3 day pass separate from the room (versus the length-of-stay) - I wouldn't "waste" 2 days. I've read that a park hopper is good for 1 year from first use.

Then I thought about an AP. If I had an AP, I could go into the park for those 4 hours without feeling I "wasted" the pass - and then there is a slight possibility that I may be able to return in the next year.

If I call reservations, do they tend to speak English? I'm going to be taking some intro French courses, but I have not started them yet, and I doubt what I will learn would be useful in this situation ;) .

I did a quick look at the on-line application (me and Babelfish  ), and when it gets to the point of asking for your address - it has "Country" hard-coded to France. No other field, no other choice. I'm wondering - anyone have an AP outside of France? I think I'll start another thread!

Thanks for everyone's help! You guys are awesome! :cheer2:
