Hello. I have never been to DLP and wanted to ask for opinions on these 2 hotels. DLP hotel looks beautiful, but is it worth the higher price. Newport Bay looks like the Yacht Club at WDW which I like as well. It will just be 3 adult females so I am trying to decide. Any info is appeciated! Thank you.

There's actually just been a recent discussion about this! What an odd coincidence!

I think the overall viewpoint was that if you can afford the DLH, go for it. The NPBC is apptarantly nothing like the Yacht Club in WDW. I have stayed in the NPBC myself though and I can vouch for it being a nice hotel.

I've not stayed at either but I have been round them both and personally I'd never book the NBC. It's just too big and confusing (took us 10 minutes to find a lift for the buggy from the entrance)

I'm with Bob, have stayed at the NPB, it's a beautiful hotel and we received excellent service. Can't comment on the DLH, but if you can afford it go for it, you're certainly not going to get any lesser treatment there than the NPB :goodvibes :goodvibes

I commented on the other thread, but thought I would comment here too. If you can afford the Disneyland hotel go for it. We stay at the Beach Club when we go to WDW so also know the Yacht Club quite well too. The Newport Bay does not compare to the Yacht Club. It is a nice hotel, but not a deluxe like the Disneyland Hotel or the Yacht or Beach Club.
