Hello all, I have noticed that not many of you are visiting DLP in September. Any reason for this??? :confused3

its just that its my 30th in September and i want to celebrate in style, so what better way to celebrate than to be in disney!:cheer2:

Hi LouLou77 and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

For us holidays are around school breaks. For others I suspect that after the summer break both Halloween and Christmas season are both big draws :)

Hi LouLou 77 and welcome :wave2:

September will be a quieter time to go because as Reid said a lot of people tend to go at Halloween, Christmas or in the School holidays.

Depending on how long you are going for you may catch the start of the Halloween celebrations on the 6th October.

DLP is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year so you will be there for their birthday celebration which starts in April and runs all year.

Hope you have fun planning and anything else you need to know just ask :)

Hi LouLou77, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

We're the same, we only holiday in the school holidays. However, others have said September is a great time to visit with still lovely weather but lower crowds.

Have fun planning your special birthday there! :goodvibes

Beginng of September is the perfect time for a visit.

The school holiday growds are gone. And the weather could be perfekt - not to warm and not to cold! So you still feel a little bit of summer but the parks should be not to growded because many people wait for their next visit until Halloween!

Thanks Guys,

We will be there at the end of Sept so i quess the crowds will still be low then!??!! which is good! :cool1: ::MickeyMo

Our first trip was late September and I would definitely visit at this time again, if I was not now tied by school holidays.

The crowds were really low and most rides were "walk straight on". On some of the rides, including Big Thunder Mountain we were able to ride twice without queuing.

The only possible downside is that some of the park restaurants are not open everyday. There is such a selection of restuarants in the parks and Disney Village that this is really only a very small problem, if a problem at all.

The thing that we liked most about the end of September was that the park was getting ready for Halloween and every day when we went in to the park we spent our time trying to spot want had been added overnight.
