Hi fellow DLP lovers!

We are looking to spend a week in Disneyland Paris over the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve and Day. We want to do at least one character meal for our daughters (3 years and 4 months old at the moment!) and were hoping to do the xmas day meal at HNY. Has anyone done this before? Have you got any feedback? Which characters come (I assume its just the main gang) and are they dressed Christmasy? At £154 each adult and £59 per child, we really are in two minds about doing it as for that price we could do other character meals.

What are the options for Christmas Eve otherwise, in terms of character meals? Would anyone recommend them instead. Does anyone also know when the Inventions character meals take place around christmas time and is the price much more than usual?

Can't really seem to find out anything too official about the meal options, hours and general running of DLP at xmas, other than the brief description of parades/shows and the price of xmas day meal.

I'd appreciate any general feedback you have about DLP on Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day. I've been in the Christmas season before but never for the actual key days. Thanks in advance you amazing, informative and friendly people!

I read a report by someone who had Xmas day lunch in HNY but I can't remember if it was here or on trip advisor. maybe do a search on both!

I can't post a link, but search for 'merry Christmas lunch, hotel new York' on the trip advisor DLP forum

Also does anyone know what the Inventions Sunday Brunch is like around the Christmas period. Its our 3 year old's birthday on the 28th December too, which happens to be a Sunday and our last day so thought we'd end the magical trip there if possible. Do you think it will still be Christmas themed?

Found this from Christmas 2012 in the Sunday Brunch thread, looks like there was a Christmas theme brunch on 22nd and 25th December in 2013 but no one's reported about any other dates. The best thing to do is phone Dining Reservations once the 60 day window has opened to find out the theme.

We went for Christmas in 2005 (so quite a long time ago!), we decided against the expensive Christmas lunch on Christmas Day because we went to the Tinker Bell dinner show (which is sadly no more) on another evening and that was quite pricey. Instead we had our Christmas Day lunch at the Lucky Nugget, of course this was back in the day when it was a character buffet and a good one at that.

You can work out which restaurants are going to be having expensive Christmas meals by the brochure, it's usually near the back of it, and the restaurants in the park are usually Walt's and Blue Lagoon. Cafe Mickey and many of the others will be at usual prices although they will also be the usual menu and not something Christmassy.

You will have a fantastic time, there's nothing to beat waking up at Disney! I did write a trip report but it's going to be a bit out of date now! ;)

Thanks for all of your feedback. It has been most helpful. I wish there was more information and photos from previous Christmas meals. Also wish we could book further in advance to avoid disappointment. We are also going for a quick weekend in august so we may be able to get more info and book then thanks.
