Hi all :goodvibes

Well, so far in the last couple of weeks our family has been faced with the ash cloud, DS's asthma flaring up (and a worrying 24hrs will-he-won't-he hospital wait), and a 36hr stomach bug for me!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us all be well/don't let that volcano erupt again!!!!!!

Cast Members....

Me - LOVES Disney... went to WDW when I was 19 and have wanted to go back ever since. Now we have our own kids I want them to feel the Disney Magic too!! Just happens to be my Birthday while we're away :rolleyes1
DH - Not such a big Disney fan but is looking forward to seeing me and the kids enjoying Disney... and I think he might be converted after this trip :goodvibes
DD - She's 6 years old... Princess-mad, of course! Also loves Monsters Inc and Toy Story. Is very, very excited!!!!! :cheer2:
DS - He's 4 years old.... not sure he's quite aware of what's going on :lmao: Keeps asking if we'll see lots of Disney films when we're at Disneyland... I'm trying to explain that it's BETTER than a film :woohoo:

Details....

Trip dates: 5th - 9th June 2011
Flying Easyjet from Glasgow to Charles De Gaulle.
Staying in the Cheyenne Hotel.

Here's the plan for our trip.....

Day 1

Leave house at 8am - drive to the airport (car booked in to airport parking)... flight to CDG... TGV to Marne La Vallee, shuttle to the hotel and check in to the Cheyenne about 5.30pm. Enquire about "Breakfast in the Park" tomorrow morning. Table booked at the Chuck Wagon Cafe at 6pm (thought we'd keep it "local" for our first night as the kids - and us! - are likely to be pretty tired). Kids in bed nice and early in preparation for our first day in the Parks tomorrow.

Day 2

Up early for Breakfast at the Cheyenne or in the Park (depending on that being available). Head to Disneyland Park for EMH... take in the castle, marvel at the wonder that is Main Street (ooohhh, I'm sooo excited!!!!!! :yay:).. head to Fantasyland and ride the Carrousel, Dumbo, Peter Pan and the Tea Cups... head over the Discoveryland and ride Laser Blast. Then just wander around soaking up the Disney Magic!!

Lunch booked for 11.50am at Cowboy Cookout - I don't fancy the Character scrums!

Chill out in the afternoon - check at City Hall for times of Parade, etc... do the Riverboat Landing, soak up Disney Magic.... stop for Hot Chocolate and Brioche (weather forecast is a big grim :rotfl:).

DLH for Characters at 4pm and leave for Disney Village and tea at Annette's about 5.30pm.

Day 3

Breakfast at the Cheyenne at 8am. Disney Studios today!!!

Pick up Flying Carpets Fastpass and head for Toy Story Playland. Check timings for Moteurs and English language showings of Disney Playhouse. Do Cars Quatre Roues Rallye.

12 noon - Lunch at Cafe Mickey

Again, nothing much planned for the afternoon.. back to the Studios to see shows that we fancy.... Cars and Stars Parade.

Light tea at Earl Of Sandwich followed by another early night.... have a feeling the kids will be exhausted (they're used to a 7pm bedtime!!).

Day 4 :cheer2:My Birthday:cheer2:

Breakfast at 7/7.30am and an early start this morning for Disneyland Park EMH :cloud9:

Pick up Fastpass for Indiana Jones and then go on Pirates pirate: Go back to Fantasyland so that the kids can pick their favourite rides to do again!

Lunch at Auberge De Cendrillon - of course it's my DD that wants to see the Princesses ;):lmao:

Shopping  - kids have been saving since Christmas :teacher: and the plan is to make a "hit list" of all the toys they see that they fancy and to narrow it down to one or two things and buy them on the last day. Of course, I may buy one or two things myself :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Say "Goodbye" to DLP :sad1: with a light tea in the Village - maybe ride Panoramagique.

Day 5

Breakfast at Cheyenne, check out and TGV to CDG. Flight home... estimated time of arrival 5pm.

So very very excited now.... we just have to get through until Sunday without anyone else getting sick, and no more "natural disasters".. keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!!! :worship:

Off to do some more packing :laundy:
