Hi everyone,

Just got back from WDW and getting tempted to look into 2 nights at DLP. Basically I wanna do this as cheap as possible. What's the cheapest time of year (I'm tempted by Jan but worried about Magic Unlimited - if people can re-ride does this make the initial queues really long?)

How cheap can we do this? Ideally we'd like to fly from Leeds as going all the way to London to catch the Eurostar was a pain in the **** last year and Scott doesn't like the idea of driving. There's just us two adults (30 and 19.) We don't speak French so we'd like to stay at a hotel with a complementary shuttle to the resort.

Any help finding the cheapest possible deals hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Midweek in January will be the cheapest time for packages. There are also 3=2 times here at Germany.

Otherwise have a look at the Holiday (see my website) and buy 3day hoppers at the gate.

Magic unlimeted does not make crowds. We have been this January and even Peter Pan was 0 minutes one day :rotfl:

I just booked on Ryanair for New Year flying from Prestwick - was 34 return!!!

You could stay at either the Kyriad or Holiday Inn as both are served by a shuttle bus.

Much cheapness to be had!

I can thoroughly recommend Jet2 (which I presume is how you're flying) The best budget airline i've been on. Used them 4 times now to various destinations and the service has always been good, and on time. Depending on what days you want to go I reckon you are looking as around £100 or so including taxes return for 2 people which aint bad in my book.

Can't help you on hotels though. Have fun. :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Can't help you I'm afraid but have a good time. We are off on Sunday night staying the night in Dover and going by Ferry Monday morning which is £105 (as it is half term!) The hotel is on our DVC points which includes tickets. So I guess if you don't count points it is £105 for the three of us!!!

We only live in London so the drive is not very much. Less than Scotland where DH comes from!

Hope you get the deal you are looking for and have a great time.

Well so far using Jet2 and direct booking with Disney we're looking at £157.20 each for flights, Santa Fe and park tickets. That's for 3 nights using the 3for2 in Jan. It's tempting but we spent soooo much in WDW it's hard to justify.

DLP is quite expensive compared to WDW in the amount of time you actually spend there, but at least you can do a short break and don't get jet lag. However it goes soooooo quick.

It is great for the Disney fix mid way till your next holiday though. Hope you can sort it out.

P.S. Loved your trip reports for WDW

Hi Queenie,

Don't know if it would be cheap when you're looking to go but the cheapest flights we have found for easter time are with BMI baby - £7 plus taxes, from Heathrow or gatwick.

PS When you are actually at DLRP the only tip I can give you is buy the meal vouchers - it really took the worry out of budgeting for us and I would say its better value than just buying meals i.e. three course meal with meal voucher 20 euros, same meal chosen and paid for seperately a great deal more. Anyway that was certainly the case for us at Walts and Blue Lagoon, if we hadn't had the meal vouchers we would have paid a lot more.
