I was looking on the DLP site and it says you can not bring in outside food or drinks. I was wondering if that applied to baby formula? Has anyone been recently with a baby and was it a problem? If they don't allow outside formula what is there to accommodate?

They don't actually stop you taking in any food or drink. Last week we took a large bag of capri sun and bottled water into the parks every day. There were also plenty of people taking in complete picnics with no problem either.

There is no problem taking in food and drinks as long as it isnt full size picnic hampers

no-one at DLP is going to bat an eye if you take food and drinks, formula etc into the parks :). Just no glass bottles etc.

we were never stopped even when you go through the bag search area and they look in the bag they dont mind
( only once did the security man look a little worried when he asked me what was in the bag i said can's he thought i meant cans of larger but it was coca cola! lol)

I think i saw a sign somewhere on the walk into the park from the car park something about picnic area and they ask politely if you would like to stop and have a picnic to use this area and not in the park itself.

We had no problems taking in cartons of juice, bottles of water, sandwiches, crisps (including a tube of Pringles!), biscuits, fruit etc etc. Basically, most days we had a large picnic between us, and none of the bag-checkers cared at all. They'll be expecting to see formula in the bags of those with babies.

I really don't think they're bothered about people taking food and drinks in, as long as you're not setting up a rug and parasol and having a proper picnic anywhere within the grounds.

just a quick post saying the same as the others. we took food, snacks and drinks in everyday and they honestly dont say a word. they look in your bags but thats more to do with dangerous items or alcohol. have fun xxx

Also adding- there's definitely no problem with bringing in your own food. DH and I were amazed to see two women carrying a giant cool bag beetween them for 2 families! We also saw someone with a pull along trailer full of food!!!!
