Racking my brains here, debating whether to go or not.

Never been before, thinking about Aug, getting a cheap flight.

We have DVC points with a use year of Aug.

We are not planning on going back til Sept next year, so will have points to use from Aug.

Has anyone stayed at DLP on points before.

Which is the best hotel to choose from

What are the crowds like

What is the weather like

Sorry lots of ?'s

Is it expensive

Are there charcter meals, what is there to do after the park closes.

I think i have covered it all lol :)

Hi if you head over to DLP board I'm sure there will be someone who can help regarding DVC and other questions :)

I think that the best place to visit is the DLP board.

Must admit that I've always been put off by the cost of DLP - to my mind a trip to Paris is, ultimately, more expensive than WDW :confused3

Yeah i know what you mean.

If i use my points, and have priced a flight for £25ish each way. And i can not wait 18moths for my next fix of Disney lol

I have been to DLP with DVC points. We stayed at New York Hotel but I wished we had stayed at Sequoia Lodge as was less points but in the same location. All the hotels on points are all within walking distance of the parks. We have stayed at Disneyland Hotel before but probably not worth it on points as is 97 points for night for a weekend. Whereas sequoia is 57 points per night or only 45 during the mid week.

We drove so it was just the cost of the ferry so we felt it was fairly good value for money.

We have also stayed at Davy Crockets Cabins before but these are not offered on points.

Let us know what you decide and have a great time. We have also used our points to do an exchange which we think is good too.

My children have stayed at New York and Newport Bay on points. Considering the deal includes breakfast and a length of stay pass, I think it's a great use of points - especially as they have had 4 adults in a room.
