Hi all
Am new here but delighted to see so much info up here already. I am hoping to go to dlp in sept/oct with 4 yo and nearly 3 yo. Best flights I can get are around 8 october, just occurred to me though that some euro schools may have mid terms then, anyone know where I can find out?
Also looking at 1 of the cheaper on site hotels do they all include park tickets and do they all have the characters in and around hotel?
And finally, can the dl buggies be rented at hotels?
Will be back with loads more q i'm sure! And any general advice for a 1 st timer appreciated :)

Hi :wave2:

Early October, mid-week, will be a great time to go. I don't know of any holidays but it is generally a quieter time to visit DLP :thumbsup2

All the onsite hotels will have characters in the morning, normally during breakfast times. They have also been known to pop up unannounced throughout the day :) When you book a package with dlp for an onsite hotel, passes to both parks are included for the duration of your stay. For example, if you book 3 nights, you'll get 4 days tickets, to include both your arrival and departure day.

It's been a few years since we've needed a buggy, but I think you can only hire the buggy inside each of the parks, meaning you can't use them to go back to the hotels. I'd strongly recommend taking your own buggy, even if your lo's don't use one at home - they will most definitely need one at DLP. Lots of walking, also very handy for storing your bags/coats etc.

Hope this helps :goodvibes

Hiya

theres a link in the Useful Info sticky that gives you all the details on school hols through out Europe.

I would advise to bring your own strollers if possible as the ones in DLP are rigid, cannot be folded and a bit awkward plus if you are flying buggies are free with most if not all airlines. You'd also save the bother of having to rent one (€7 or €8 in 2010) and the deposit (€70 in 2010).
