I don't usually make room requests, but my kids love to eat breakfast on the balcony, and somewhere I read that the upper floors of wonder tower have large balconies. We also want to request a room with a daybed. We are staying 6 nights. Any thoughts on room requests? Help- never stayed onsite!!

Sorry I can't really help you. We just got back from our trip at DLH last week. We stayed in the Wonder tower and I didn't notice any walk-out balconies. Our room did not have one. I also didn't look for those.

Have you tried calling them? They are usually pretty helpful.

Good luck.

I'm pretty sure all of their balconies are just big enough to step on to. Not enough room to eat out on at all. Maybe their suites have bigger balconies? But definitely not the regular rooms, in any of the towers (we've stayed high up in all three).

Hmmm, I did call and the lady said there are large balconies on the 14th + floor of Wonder. I'll double check!

It doesn't have to be the 14th floor only. On the side of the Wonder facing DTD and the Parks, there are balconies all up the building. I stayed there on the 12th-ish floor with a full balcony. As I recall they have a couple of chairs and small end table.

(Tragically some one recently jumped to their death from the 14th floor balcony in the Wonder Tower).

Wow, I had no idea. Guess that's really good to know. I'm gonna have to look now when were there! LOL We'll just have a standard room for one night, so I'm sure we won't be getting a full balcony!

Hope you're able to get one!
