DLH - Which Tower

We are currently booked at the PPH for 2 days at the end of September, but I really want to stay at DLH. The only thing holding me back is the construction issues. If I did decide to make the switch which tower is the best to request ( I know it would be just that) as far as minimal construction impact? Thanks:)

I don't know where the construction is, but if you get there early you can request a room with a view of DTD and the fireworks. Even if that's where the construction is, it would be worth putting up with for that extra magic.:thumbsup2

I would choose the Adventuer Tower, it closer to the parks and the views are better, though some of the lower pool view room are of construction.

Also the Frontier Tower, it is done, however you have to walk a bit to get from the room to the parks, but it's closer to the new pool area. Half of the views from this tower face parking lots.

Thanks Skiing Fast:thumbsup2

I was there 2 weeks ago. We had Frontier Tower on the 9th floor facing the pool construction. We had a view of the fireworks over the top of the other building!

We attended D23 so this tower was a closer walk.

We just got back from dlh...we stayed in fantasy tower and had a great view of the fireworks. I requested adventure tower but it was sold-out. The front desk said we could check for a rm change but she wouldn't recommend bc our rm had a great view of the fireworks.

I had the same question. Does anyone know where you can find a good map that includes the towers?

The north tower where the lobby is and "access" to GK and the convention center is now the Fantasyland Tower(this is where construction is currently going on).

The east tower that faces the parks and mostly DTD is the Adventure tower.

The south tower is the Frontier Tower.

These three towers make a U shape open to the west. In the middle of them is the pool area, that is about 1/2 under construction right now.

Thanks, that's a good tip but the days we will be there, there are no Fireworks anyway.

I guess it depends on why you want to be at the DLH. For me, the greatest thing about it is getting a room with a direct view down the center of DTD. I tried scanning my picture to show people this view but my scanner doesn't seem to be working. We got there early to request one of those rooms. We were in room 2637 on the 8th floor of what was then called the Sierra tower (now Adventure tower?). We had all the glorious street music streaming into our room and enjoyed people watching and the lights of DTD. Fireworks can be seen from many rooms of many hotels but only DLH has rooms with this long view of DTD.

As a side note, you don't have to agree with someone to appreciate their efforts. Picking out one person to thank when there are only two posts is kind of insulting to the other person. But we all make mistakes and now you know! :) No worries.

I don't understand. You were thanked in my previous post.:confused3

Thank you to all who responded. It sounds like either the Frontier or Adventure tower would be good. Hopefully we can get a higher floor.

We were just there, and really weren't affected by the construction. We had a 3rd floor room in Adventure tower, they were working *right* outside our room, in fact they planted several new trees right outside our window (which involved a mini excavator digging holes) and we never really noticed until the trees were in the ground.

That said, I opted out of a higher room in Fantasy because they are still working on the actual building, with scaffoldings. Or they were last week. That seemed like a potential noise issue. But the pool construction noise was minimal, and didn't bother us at all.
