Hey all,

My wife is curious if there is an easy way to warm up milk for our youngest when he wakes up around midnight.

Only 11 more days at work and we're going to Didnylan!!

Maybe something like this ... http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Quick-Bottle-Warmer/dp/B00005BXKM

Else, when DD was little, in Australia we have electric kettles in all hotel rooms (for tea making). We would boil the water then pour the water into a plastic jug, then place the bottle in the plastic jug to warm it up. It would take around 5 minutes or so, but that was the free way! In a similar way, could you heat water in the coffee maker? Take a plastic jug with you, tip the water in, then the bottle in the jug to warm up?

When my twins were babies- 15 years ago! we had a bottle warmer. You put some water in the bottom and plugged it in. It warmed up the bottle in a few minutes. I would assume such things still exist. I guess, the problem would be if you have room for it. Don't know if you are flying. It isn't big but is sort of cylander shape.

You could always fill the sink with hot water and stand the bottle in it till it warms.

This works. Does it have to be really warm, or will room temp work? Can you just fill the bottle with water and leave it, to add the formula in the middle of the night?

Wait, are we talking formula milk... or real milk?

if you have a microwave in your room you can get a bowl, large cup or a ice bucket maybe. and fill it with water and heat it in the microwave. then just stand the milk in the hot water for a few min. Definately test the milk first so its not too hot. also this is the cheapest method but not the fastest.:thumbsup2

These are all things we have done before. DS goes back to sleep if the milk is warmer than room temp. We have one of those bottle warmer things, but it seems to take forever. The teakettle is a great idea.

Anybody know if they have hot water near the ice machines in the DLH?

No hot water near the ice machines...there is just the standard vending machine and the ice maker...jc
