I have reserved two concierge rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, with DVC points, for four nights next February. I asked someone on the phone at the DLH front desk if I could buy an upgrade to one of the two or three bedroom suites, (which would work out a lot better for us with the two year old granddaughter). This person said it was definitely possible, but only on the day of arrival and only if a suite was available.

I would like to hear from anyone who has ever stayed in a suite at DLH. I would especially like to hear from anyone who has actually upgraded from rooms reserved with DVC points at DLH.

If you really want a suite, another option may be to book one with points.

MS gave us a quote for a 2 BR suite at the DLH for Sept for 65 points per night. I understand that this does not include Concierge service, but that suites are often upgraded to include concierge for cash. I think it is $150 or $175 per night. If your suite is not in the same tower as the Concierge lounge, however, if may not be worth it. Also, you can find the suite layouts at www.disneylandmeetings.com, in case you are interested.
Good luck -- Suzanne
