OK, here's another "what would you choose" scenario. The players are my little family of 3 (me, DH, DS8) plus my mom, sister and nephew (age 3), so 6 of us in total. The trip will be in mid-Dec. I'm looking at either a one-bedroom suite at the DLH or 2 rooms at GCH (ideally connecting). What would you choose? I've stayed at DLH twice already, but never in a suite. Would a one-bedroom suite be spacious enough for the 6 of us? For $250 more we could get two rooms at GCH, but I would want them to be connecting. Has anyone had issues getting connecting rooms?
I'm leaning towards GCH for these reasons: more beds with two rooms, closer to the parks (really handy if it rains), new experience since we've never stayed there, and the holiday theming at GCH is wonderful. I'd be bummed if we couldn't get connecting rooms though. I want the adults to be able to socialize after the kids go to bed, so that's what appeals to me the most about the suite at DLH.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you!!
