DLH Questions!!

We are booked with an upper level resort view room at the DLH for 11 nights in October!!! We are so excited - and the timing means that our middle daughter gets to have her 7th birthday, and our youngest daughter gets to celebrate her 3rd birthday, while we are there. I have 2 questions for anyone who can help:

1. Do the rooms we have booked have balconies or is this something we should request?

2. Are the pools heated or should it be warm enough for swimming in early October anyway (we are from Brisbane Australia)?

Actually they do have SOME balconies, it's been talked about in this site.

Only the suites on the upper floor, not the room she described.

The only tower with balcony's is the Frontier tower.

The end rooms in the tower are/can be either one or two bedroom suites, they all have balconys no matter the floor number. The one side of the suite, those rooms can be used as premium rooms, as they are a room with either a king bed or two queens.

The top floor of the tower does have some premium rooms/upper level resort view rooms. They are not all suites. They can be, but they are rented out at times as single rooms and they have balconys.

You can request these rooms, but you may not get them, as they are few and far between.

Your odds of getting a balcony on the top floor increase if you are willing to take one of the rooms with a city view, as they face away from the resort, but even then, they are not many of them.

It's a great hotel we are booked for Sept
