Can't seem to keep it straight. I think its Magic (northernmost, with front desk), Dreams (easternmost, facing DTD), and Wonder (closest to Paradise Pier Hotel). Please correct me as necessary.

When we made reservations, we requested upper level, DTD view. Are requests granted based on availability? If you request it, do you usually get it? Since we requested upper level DTD view, does that mean the middle tower (Dreams?). Do most of those rooms have 2 double beds and a day bed?

Thanks!

That is the Dreams Tower. There is no guarantee. If you paid for resort/pool view you'll get either the DTD or pool view. Having said that, we requested resort view & got it. I think you have a really good chance of getting DTD view.

We got our package from Costco and it included a "standard view room" however we requested from Costco and then later from the hotel itself, a room with two queens and a day bed as well the Dreams Tower. When we got there, the front desk was extremely accomodating. We ended up on the 8th floor of the Dream Tower with a Downtown Disney view which was great! Even better, we didn't have to pay for it ;) !

I've heard that some rooms at DLH can be noisy (proximity to elevator, thin walls, pool noise outside). I'd like to avoid that...anyone know of a request that can be made to get a "quieter" room?

Yeah, our DTD view room was a little noisy on thursday, friday and saturday nights because of the music but it was quite entertaining.

We stayed in the Dreams tower, with a DTD view (8th floor), and other than the music from DTD, the room was pretty quiet. It was right near the elevator, so I was worried about that, but it didn't turn out to be a problem.

When my parents checked in I told them to request the Wonder tower, so they wouldn't hear the noise from DTD. They also requested a "quiet room" and were given a room far from the elevator. It would have been great, if not for the screaming kid outside their door early in the morning, and the people jumping on the floor in the room over theirs!

So, you can always request a quiet room, but I think it's the luck of the draw! :)
