I am booking a standard room for 2 adults and 2 children tomorrow morning. Which tower should I request? Looking for the closest yet updated tower. Also we will be there in Dec. are the pools heated? Has anyone ever actually used the pools in Dec?

thanks

The Dreams Tower is the closest and they do have some lower level rooms that are considered standard. If you request that tower, you may be upgraded to a room on a higher floor with a view of either the Neverland Pool or DTD.

The pools are heated, and my kids love to swim no matter how cold it is outside.

Yes, request either the Dreams or Magic towers. I have had standard rooms in both of those towers, as Dangermouse said, the lower level floors on both sides of the Dreams are standard. In the Magic Tower, many of the rooms, even high up ones are standard. Some have great views of either the pool or the parks. I also happen to like the Wonder Tower. My all time favorite view was in that tower above the koi pond, we could see Disneyland and the wedding pavillion. I don't find the extra walk that bad to that tower, but it is a bit further.

We have swam in that pool in December, January and February. Its always heated. My kids were quite warm in the pool last January, it was chilly outside though so me and my husband had on jackets and used pool towels to cover up with! Its not a vacation without some pool time.;)

Thanks so much! I will request the Dreams Tower and tell them my 2nd request will be for the Magic Tower.

I am SO excited to be staying at the DLH, I haven't stayed there since I was a young child and never really considered staying there due to the cost (even though we go EVERY year). But I got a great rate. I am going to try to keep it a secret from the family but I just don't know if I can hide my excitement!!!

What an EXCELLENT surprise for your family! Ooh, don't say a word about it. Keep it a secret, as torturously hard as that may be for you.:goodvibes

How cool will that be when you get there and pull up in front of the DLH, and see the surprised looks on their faces?!?!:yay:  :yay: (the one in the middle is your hubby)
