DLH question

We are leaving next week for DD's birthday trip! We will be staying in the DLH (this will be DD's first time and my first time in probably 20 years!)

When I made the reservation, the CM asked if it was a special occasion, and I said yes, it was for my DD's 4th birthday, and she asked who her favorite character is. So now I am wondering, will they put something in the room for her or something? Should we be expecting a prize from her?

Also, I am thinking about getting her a princess dress from DL as her birthday gift - is there a way that I could call the hotel and have it added to my bill before I check in so that it's waiting for her when we get to our room? Would they wrap it, or leave a note or something? I think it would be so fun for DD to get to the room and have a gift waiting from the princesses or from Mickey! I know they do the gift baskets, but there wasn't one that I really liked.

What wonderful ideas. Call the hotel and see if they cant help out on the dress.
What they did for my gd was is also was her birthday. The front desk had mickey call her to wish her a happy birthday.

I'm guessing they'll probably have an autographed photo of her favorite character waiting for her at check in, maybe even some balloons. As for the princess dress, vacation planning can help with that. It'll probably cost more $$$ than buying it yourself one day and sneaking it up to the room as vacation planning will charge an extra $20+ service charge ( i don't remember the exact cost of their service fee for the personal shopping). Email or call vacation planning again and let them know what yuo want doen and they'll be able to help you.

I am also guessing that it is an autograph pic.... plus maybe a Birthday pin.... but you never know! It is the year of a million dreams!!! Here is some pixie dust for a great trip!!
