DLH parking...

Hello again... I was wondering if we do keep our DLH reservations and we arrive say at 7 am... where do we park? do we park at the DLH parking or DL parking? I know we wont be able to check in till the afternoon....or atleast the room wont be ready yet. It would be nice if we could be able to use the pool before the room was ready in the early afternoon. but then we would just hang around till our room was ready? Can I order Vons to be delievered for the afternoon time even if I dont have my room yet? I think someone said a 2 hour delivery period... but if my room isnt ready till 4 pm and we really dont like wasting time, I wanted to go to goofys Kit for dinner at 5 pm. How would this work ? Any help is great- thank you!

I don't know about ordering groceries but you can check-in as early as you want, storing your luggage with the bell service. We do this all the time....when your room is ready they send you a text message letting you know. I'm pretty certain that you can use the pool before your room is ready but call the hotel for a definitive answer

When you pull up at the hotel they will know you are checking in that day, you'll be on "the list" We pull up in the front of the hotel (like where you would go for valet parking, just tell them you are checking in). I check us in while DH says with the car, then we go park in the parking garage. No problem.

You can use the pools, just make sure to put your suits in a small bag to take with you to change, they have towels at the pool. The room key you got when you checked in will let you in the gate at the pool. We usually check in, head to the parks for a bit and grab a bite to eat. You could do that, then swim. Or just wonder around DTD, or explore the hotel. If you still have time, wonder over to the GCH and check it out too.

I would set the delivery time up for 2:30-4:30ish ... I know bell services would hold non-perishable stuff (with your luggage), but I am not sure if they have a refrig to keep perishables. I want to say that they do, but I am not 100% certain of that. I know they do at WDW, but that really doesn't help. I would just call the hotel directly and ask them. Or see what the latest delivery time is and hope it's after you eat.
