DLH online check-in

Sorry if this has been covered, and if so, please point me to that thread.

Going in May, and wanted to know how the online checkin works. When does it open up, is it at midnight day of, or at a certain time? What are the benefits of the online checkin?

The benefits are skipping the front desk and a possible wait to check-in. As long as your reservation is linked to the App and setp correctly, you can use your phone as your room key during stay.

If you have requests for a particular room type/location, or any other requests, I would plan on going to the front desk to ask for some magic. If you want physical keys, which we like to have for the kids and the pool, you can visit the front desk at any time and request those. Have fun!

Does this just mean that I can access the reservation from the app? Or is there some other set up required?

If I check in online but then find some problem with the room once I get there, could I still go back to the desk and ask them to fix it?
( I can't imagine what issue we'd have, but you never know.)

Yes. I think I remember you saying you were staying Club level. If so, you would go to the Concierge lounge to discuss any issues there. They will help you faster.

Thanks! We're probably staying club but I still have to make the final decision between a club room or the 2 bedroom suite. Wish I could do both!
