Just checking - is there a fridge and free high speed internet access in the DLH rooms?

Internet access is part of your daily resort fee of around $10. That resort fee includes your parking, newspaper (US Today, Mon-Fri), health club access and internet access. They have cables in the desk drawer for you to use.

The frig is small but holds quite a bit and even has a very small freezer section, enough to hold around 3, 16 oz. water bottles. Enjoy the Disneyland Hotel!

Thanks. I presume the "resort fee" is mandatory? We're staying on DVC points - I wonder if the fee is an extra that I will be charged or is included - any thoughts?

FYI, if you ask they will also bring you a coffee pot and coffee. Free of course.......

You're in luck, you are not charged the resort fee if you stay on points. We just did the same thing for nine nights and were not charged the fee. Otherwise, for any cash reservatioin it is mandatory.

Yup, it's mandatory...but like previously stated, it's "included" in the points you pay...so you won't pay an additional amount. :thumbsup2

While we're talking about it, I can't remember...do the rooms have microwaves?

i dont remember seeing a microwave... should call front dsk and see if they would send one up...

The title seems funky... i was like, what the heck is a High Speed Fridge? :D

:rotfl2: Ice cubes in ten minutes or less?

For the record, they won't tell you each room has a "fridge", I was told it doesn't on several occasions. However, each room has a "cooler", which is basically one of those half-size dorm-room type refrigerators. They don't call it a fridge because it apparently doesn't keep things as cool as a regular fridge.

Some guests complained here that it didn't keep their stuff cold enough, but we had no trouble with ours, it was plenty cold for water and milk and a few other perishables. I would say if you have trouble with yours, call and let them know so they can either fix it or replace it. It SHOULD be plenty cold enough to keep your milk!

As a DVC member, I have never been charged an internet fee, nor have I ever inquired or been asked. It's always been plug and play for me.
