Specifically, what is the difference between a 1-br Jr Suite and a 1-br Suite? Is the Jr. Suite smaller? The Disney site shows exactly the same pictures for both, mentions the same layout and the only difference I can see listed is the location (parking lot view for Jr. suite vs every type for regular).

The pictures I see of the Jr Suite are quite smaller than the ones of the regular suite.

Oh great. Thanks. I wasn't finding that and it's just what I needed to know!

1 br Jr suite:
1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size pull-down bed
Sleeps up to 4 Adults

1 br suite:
2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa or 1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa
Sleeps up to 6 Adults

Thank you. I had read the description but it was unclear to me because "sleeps up to 4" as opposed to 6 could just be the difference between a King bed and 2 queens without necessarily meaning the room was smaller. The pictures shown by the descriptions were identical so I couldn't tell from those, either.

I'm looking at going with my daughter and grandson (not quite 2). It's easier if the grandson has his own space for sleeping so I'm trying to determine the best configuration at the least cost for what we need.
