DLH Construction Veteran's Day Week-end

Hi, Quite a lot of info about the DLH construction on the Board but my question isn't being directly answered. Not even sure if there is a 100% accurate answer but - here's the question (with a lead-up).

We are staying the night of November 10th, through Monday the 14th. Friday the 11th is Veterans's (Remembrance) Day. In Canada, it's a holiday and I believe the same is in the US. Do you think construction will be happening on Friday the 11th? Also, I believe I read somewhere that the construction crew don't work Sundays. Can anyone confirm?

We're going to Universal on Saturday the 12th so, if there's no construction on Friday the 11th or Sunday the 13th that would work in our specific case, with our dates.

There was no construction either Sat or Sun on the weekends I have been. I don't know what they will do on Veteran's Day. We will be there though.

I don't know about construction and DLH. However, Veterans Day is a holiday for the government, but many places still work and many kids still have school that day. I would think construction would not change because of Veterans Day, but couldn't say that 100 percent .

There won't be a break on Veterans day on construction. It's a federal holiday only.

It is good to hear weekends are free of construction. I stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and could only speak to the lack of construction on Sunday.

Thanks again everyone for your input. It's truly valuable in our planning. We've already booked DLH but, I keep wavering as to whether to change it or not. What you're saying is very encouraging to me and helpful in my choice of what day to do Universal. Might need to consider changing that to the 11th!

We just went July 16-19. As others have said, there was no weekend construction work during our trip. Started up Monday morning and was going strong Mon & Tues.
