My husband and I were at the parks this weekend and we were thinking about how much we would love to stay at the DLH sometime. So we started talking about how great it would be to have a view inside the parks. My husband used to work at WDW and remembered that each night they turn on the houselights and huge trucks drive down Main Street-kind of kills the magic! So we started wondering in DLP if you were staying at DLH-can you see and hear all that at night?? (the bright lights, big trucks, cleaning crew etc)?? Anyone know? Curiosity getting the best of me!! :yay:

If you stayed in a castle club, park view room, or a suite then I guess you would.

Would still be worth it though!!

That is true. You need to have a Castle Club room with park view or even a suite with park view. There is a trip report here on the board where someone had a view to the park and it can get loud at night and in the morning hours.

But I also know that they clean the park in the morning hours and not after the park has closed. That way the don't have to use working lights in the night. When we stayed in a standard room we heard the cleaning team every morning at 6am.

And during one visit we could hear that they were rehearsing Fantilluison after the park closed. So if you were staying in the DLH you could have seen Fantillusion or other new stuff.

You can see day and night time pictures of our view from our standard DLH here:
