Does anyone know what happens if I book my husband a one-way DCL transport from WDW to Port Canaveral but he doesn't actually get ON the bus? Can he keep that port arrival time of 11:30 or whatever it is? Here is my dilemma- my entire family, including my husband and I, are staying at WDW for the weekend before our Wish cruise in January. My husband and I live in SW Florida so we drive to WDW and post-cruise I will be going to the airport with my family to travel to Michigan and my husband will return to our home in Florida with our vehicle. It doesn't really make a lot of sense for him to return to WDW and drive an extra hour or 2 home.
Obviously, we will all have different port arrival times if my family takes DC transport and my husband and I drive. So, I was contemplating taking the DCL transport with my family and paying for my husband to have a one way DCL transport ticket, so we can all board the ship together if he gets to keep that PAT? When I called DCL to discuss the issue they said my family could wait for our [likely] later PAT, but that means making kids under 5 sit in the terminal. I really don't care what time I get on the ship since this is not our first DCL cruise, but missing seeing my niece and nephew board their first cruise ever makes me sad.
