If you do go, arrive early, prepare for everything to take longer, pick your top 3 or 4 rides, and relax and enjoy the ambience. We usually go in offseason but did new years for various reasons 2 years ago and the holiday decorations and general spirit were amazing. People were handing us unused fastpasses when they left the park and we tried to do the same if we had leftovers. Keep inmind that if park reaches capacity they will stop letting guests in if you decide to go to dtd for lunch or something. Its beautiful, totally worth it if you have the patience, but it is much slower and longer (think half hour minimums to get hot chocolate). I would not go that week every year but if that's when you can make it, go!
