DL with Midnight Closing?

I know that during these extended hours larger crowds are expected but does the park remain at a high crowd level that late at night?

There are still crowds and some of the rides are still busy (splash and space) but this is a really good time to ride rides like buzz, matahorn, BTMMR, pirates, HM without any queues. My DD and I loved staying back till midnight, we took night photos without hoards of people in front, got moved on by security as they tried to clear the lands, walked down main street with hardly any people on it.

well, most people leave after the fireworks... makin the park pretty empty...

either that or people start shopping on main street not knowing it stays open for an additional hour...

It is gloriously slimmed down on crowds.
Lots of elbow room, lots of open space to enjoy the views, usually straight onto the rides with minimum wait (or none), most of the little ones are in bed, and the adults stroll around with big smiles on their faces.
A really fantastic and magical time to be in the park.
Just pre-make your coffee pot for a one button push the next morning!

I've been there after it rained at about 9pm and was there until 12am...sometimes its somewhat weird because you feel like your not supposed to be in some of the places you go because there is NO ONE THERE at all, does anyone have a favorite place to go after "normal hours" but the park is still open? Where there is no one around? Where it feels like you shouldnt be there? Mine is the hungry bear resturaunt, back in the corner, against the lake.

Dont know if anyone knows about the feeling im talking about...
