1. The lockers aren't under the train station, they're 1/2 way up Main Street on the right (Main Street seems shorter, BTW)
2. During a parade, you can't get all the way from the hub to the entrance on the left side, Main Street Cinema is in the way so you have to go outside (a CM told me, "I'll bet you're used to WDW, you have theme park dyslexia" when she told me I had to go outside to get around MS Cinema)
3. The walk from HoJos to the DL tram entrance is about the same as at POR, the distance from the outer areas to the Main Bldg. Coupled with the fact that everything within DL's closer together, no wonder people used to DL are overwhelmed at WDW-I was amazed at how quickly I could get from one land to another.
4. There were comparitively very few sit-down meal options. I really missed the monorail resturaunts at WDW, which make it possible to leave the park at lunch time without leaving Disney.
5. I missed the sit-down dining options @Epcot-heck, I just really missed Epcot!

LOL My hubby and I are huge disney fans. We live near Disneyland so we have annual passes which get PLENTY of use! And we also do the Disneyworld treck once a year. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip! :)

But what we want to know is how is the All American College Band? (Does WDW still have that?) Is your son now a Tower of Power fan?

If you ever make it out to Disneyland again try taking the monorail to Downtown Disney for lunch. There are about 8 sit-down options there. It really works wonderfully!

Of course the All-American College band is excellent (not that I'm biased or anything!) When they play the Disney themes in front of the castle, it brought a tear to my eye. WDW has this, after temporarily discontinuing it for several years. This is only Florida's second summer of offering it, and I must admit I don't know much about what the program is like in Florida. DS has always been a bit of a Tower of Power fan, but he especially loves the trumpet soloists-and of course Stan Kenton. Isn't admiring Stan Kenton a prerequisite to be in music at University of North Texas?
