DL Villans...too scary for kids? Where to meet?

I must admit I have a thing for villains! I'm wondering if DL will have a list of where they can be met and when or if it is just luck. I also have three young children and wondering if they are way too scary to have my kids with me. I don't expect my munchkins to hug or kiss any of them but I would love a photo!
Don't forget Darth Maul....he is my favorite SW1 character.

I have never had the opportunity to see any other than Captain Hook, and I saw him at Minnie's Breakfast. But, I've seen pictures of people with Cruella, The White Witch (from Narnia), but that's about all I've seen of Villians. Neither my 8 year old or my 3 year old wanted anything to do with Captain Hook, he seemed to sense this and hid his face while he slinked by our table, lol.

The villains are generally very good about judging the reaction of small children. I have never seen one get too scary for the kid they were dealing with. The evil queen did have an interesting conversation with my son when he was five because he informed her that he "did not feel comfortable answering her question" when she asked if he knew where Snow White was. He was polite but firm.

Cruella was by the entrance almost every day we were there. She was hillarioustoo ! She doesn't mince words and will tell you just how she feels about your clothes, autograph book, etc.

The Queen and hag were in front of the Animation building (at different times, that would be wierd ) due to the 70th anniversary of Snow white. We took her an apple. She was very pleased and said she knew just who to give it to.

Cruella was by the entrance almost every day we were there. She was hillarioustoo ! She doesn't mince words and will tell you just how she feels about your clothes, autograph book, etc.

This was exactly my experience.

She was over the top funny & in character.

We met Cruella near the entrance of DL too, she was awesome!! The kids absolutely loved her. She was so in character!

Yep! I too have seen Cruella by the entrance, over by the hat shop on Main Street. She was asking a little girl about her jacket if it was made out of dog fur. The little girl gave her the weirdest look. It was hilarious.

I remember Cruella walking around in DCA. She was going the same direction as we were, and my kids wouldn't go near her. LOL. She was totally over the top. It was hilarious.

Even Goofy is too scary for my son, but he loves Pluto. Villains cause him to turn and run!

We saw Lady Tremaine, Drisella and Anastasia, Cruella, the hag, & Maleficent all in DCA in October, during MHT... very cool! DD didn't want to hug them or anything... but we checked them out and talked to most of them...

If so, they are SO funny in the parades. They even posed for me when they saw me with my camera, during the Electrical Parade.

(which is ironic back to my childhood, as my mom took me to a re-release of the movie at the theater, and the stepsisters and stepmother scared me so bad I became hysterical, and she had to take me home)

I understand that at the Jedi training Darth Vader is usually there. Does he sign autographs and do photos? How often does Darth Maul make an appearance?...and if anyone knows how to meet Harrison Ford....<sigh, Han Solo is my first love:> please fill me in!

Vader and Maul both appear at each showing of Jedi Training Academy. Unfortunately, there are no opportunities for official meet/greets with autographs. If your kid is lucky enough to be chosen to train as a padewan, then they will get to fight one or the other during their training so make sure you get tons of pics during the fight b/c they will both disappear shortly thereafter.

Harrison Ford was in the parks when I was there in February. Didn't get to see him in person, but many people were talking about spotting him here and there.

We saw the hag from Snow White in DCA in front of the little dwarf's house just last Thursday.

And as others have stated Cruella is often seen out and about in DL.
