DL This weekend ... Help me please!

Ok, DD and I are flying out Thursday morning and we are suppose to meet up with my BF and her daughter but due to several emergencies they won't be around much and I need help figuring out where to make my reservations.

Ok, this is what I have...

Oct 31 Trick or Treat party tickets
2 day park hoppers
Saturday night hotel at beach (nonrefundable)

I'll need hotel suggestions also if anyone knows where to rent a car for cheap I would appreciate it....

We have also been planning a trip to the American Girl Place so if you can help me figure out how to get there??

Ok, stressing out.. leaving in 38 hours or so and I have NOTHING planned anymore!

Here is a map of local hotels.

HoJo is great. hojoanaheim.com is the specific site. Or call 714-776-6120 during pacific time business hours, and ask for "in house reservations". Make sure the people you're talking to are truly "in house", in the Anaheim hotel. Sometimes if you call during lunch or outside of business hours you'll get sent over to the 800 number and they don't know about the specials the Anaheim hotel has.

As a disboards member you can get a discount of 15% off the normal rate.



I've stayed at Carousel, and while others enjoy it, I didn't really like it. It's not a real dive, though.

Many people like the Desert Inn and the Tropicana, and I've heard good things about Camelot. Fairfield Inn is part of the Marriott chain.

I've stayed at the Anabella down on Katella, and although you go in a different way (alongside of Paradise Pier Hotel, through the Grand Californian Hotel and to the security area via DownTown Disney), it's not a horribly long walk.

Candy Cane Inn also gets rave reviews, has breakfast if I recall correctly, and has their own dedicated shuttle (only of only two hotels that have that...all the other hotels have to use ART, Anaheim Regional Transport).

I don't know about inexpensive rental cars, but there's an Alamo right in DownTown Disney. Don't know if that helps.

Many people use pricelines for rental cars, but I don't know if that works at the last minute.


YOu're going to be in the area for that many days but only have 2 day hoppers? Excuse me while I faint.

Just on the off chance you don't know, the Halloween party is in DCA.

I stay at Motel 6... we will actually be there this weekend... paying 54 bucks a night... Do you already have MToTP tickets? I know they were sold out online about 2-3 weeks ago... So if not you're best bet is to see if they are available the night of...
