DL & Springbreak

We are east coast people thinking of going to DL for springbreak.
Our springbreak is over easter next year, March 31 - April 7.

How bad is easter week at DL and are most CA schools off Easter week?

I can't say for CA schools but we are going on our spring break which starts on March 23rd. Washington schools (at least the ones in vancouver) break the week after us.

I will be going during the University of Hawaii's spring break which is 3/25-3/29

Most California schools seem to be off either the week before and/or the week after Easter. There are exceptions, of course.

Easter week is reportedly the most crowded week of the SB season. We went during the first week of SB season this year, it was the most crowded time that I've had. The second most-crowded time I've been is mid-December, right before Deluxe APs were blacked out last year. Both were still fun, though!

I went during Spring Break this year, we left DL the day before Easter and it did get a little more crowded as the week went on but I still got to see everything I wanted. It wasn't nearly as crowded as WDW in summer, which is what I'm used to.

From So California here - our Spring break is the week AFTER Easter & will be staying March 31 thru April 2 @the VGC. I would like to add on to the reservation but I think it's going to be tough cuz everyone is probably looking for the same week.

Yikes! This makes me nervous! We're going this year the week of Dec 15! We're usually there one of the 2 weeks before.

We're also going in Feb 2013 for the first time ever in the spring, so hoping crowds won't be heavy with SB yet.

I'm not saying those are the most crowded weeks of the year, just the most crowded times I've been. I would expect it to be more crowded than you're used to in December, but not crazy crowded like the week between Christmas and New Years is reported to be.

We were there the Mon and Tues before Easter this year. Get there early!!! This can't be stressed enough. We were able to get a ton done before 10:00 Monday morning. Just go in and start doing. This kind of set the pace for our day and we did more than I think I've ever done in a day. The crowds will pick up as the day goes on, but will settle down again in the evening. On Tuesday, we were dragging and didn't get there until 11. The crowds totally overwhelmed us and we had trouble finding our groove. We wandered around a lot-LOL.
