DL Snowball...here we go again!!

Well, I got my new Costco voucher in the mail today from my friend in Fresno. Last year's Costco ap, which was purchased with the idea of going to DL shortly before expiration almost a year after the initial trip, expires Oct 17. Having an ap, I discovered, quickly led to multiple trips, holiday tours, DLR hotel stays at "cheap" ap rates, and a growing addiction .

So...since I must activate my new ap by Oct 31, I booked a quickie trip today . Fly down early on a Thurs morning, stay one night at Hojo's, go to ToT Party for the first time, and fly back home late Fri night. Got it all booked today and now I can look forward to another year of snowballing

Yeah! Have a great time making "Disney snowmen" out of those snowballs! Even my parents are caught up in a Disney snowball. What started out as a one day trip to go for my dad's birthday for "free" turned into two days and staying at the Hyatt.

I can relate.. I had DP so booked the DGC and will take my daughter and her kids..she was going to pay her own way, but rgot a new job and moved back here so I said, OK I'll pay..for train tickets, parkhoppers and then I decided well, they loved the Princess breakfast..and heck, why not do the fantasmic dessert...THEN I just can't stand leaving the day the Expo starts..sooo..family leaves, I move to a cheapo hotel and a friend flys in to go to Expo with me..what was a cheap little quick trip is now 10 days...and goodness knows what I wo't be able to resist at the Expo..even though I'm not a collector..but still..

We do the same thing. My problem is that we are so spoiled (Mom has DVC) that when we have to pay for our rooms OOP, it isn't on site. MY DH and I are surprising our 2 DD's and my 11 yr old sister with a quick overniter, they think we are going to Vegas.

Yes - I was at the Costco closed to Characters Warehouse last week and saw tons of them there.

nunzia...LOL!! I know how that goes!! We went from a simple 3-night trip to a 6-night (5th night free, then who knows what else) and added in character meals etc. That was the first of 6 trips

Rumor has it that the Costco passes will be pulled as of August 23 (tomorrow!) but I don't know. My friend told me that the Clovis Costco still had quite a stack of them the other day. Maybe Costco will still have them but update the offer in some way, like extend the expiration date again.
