DL snacks you can not find at WDW

Now keep in mind that this was 13 years ago but I remember not being able to find churros at WDW. Or at least not as plentiful as they are at DL.

We do have churros at WDW, but not in many locations.

...... and not nearly as good. My theory is that they're not as big a deal at WDW, so they don't sell as many, so they aren't as fresh.

Have NEVER been to WDW and have no desire to go BUT, I do have a couple of snack items I enjoy at DL/DCA. At DL, in the very back of Critter Country, is a gift shop, go to the very back of it.

First of all, that fudge sounds good. It's hard to find good fudge these days. Second, you really should create a desire to go to WDW. Really great place - soooo big. And the snacks at Epcot alone would make any foodie go insane. I do wish that DL had the maple/sugar roasted nuts like they have at WDW. They're a perfect theme park food.

When I was a kid, my favorite treat at DL was a frozen banana. When I finally got to visit WDW (probably 25 years ago) and went to get my favorite treat, I found out they didn't have frozen bananas. Maybe it's changed since then?

WDW does indeed have frozen bananas. They're dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds, I believe. Very good. I remember having one for the first time on my honeymoon in 2002. The next 6 trips, a frozen banana was a must-eat snack.

In reference to the FUDGE, they make it about seven or eight flavors. The Maple/walnut is my favorite. The other flavors are very good as well. Ask for a piece of the last one made in whatever flavor. Fresh fudge is hard to beat!

I haven't been to WDW in some time but do they have the corn on the cob carts? Because that is one of my favorite snacks in Disneyland. I get the chili-lime corn on the cob. My other new favorite snack is the popcorn from the Cozy Cone because of the flavored. I got pickle last time and it was good!

For the record Tigger tails do win on the marshmallow wands. I love to get those or red velvet cake pops!

As amazing as all the unique treats are at DL, there are also plenty of unique treats at WDW ~ the place I really wish that DL would add is something like Goofy's Candy Company at DTD in WDW. They make all kinds of fresh candy and treats there but the absolute BEST thing is that you can have your own creations made!! You pick out pretzel rods, giant oreos, marshmallow wands, etc and then the CM dips them in your selected chocolate or caramel and then toppings. It is our favorite treat and a MUST DO on our first night so we have a stash back in the room

I don't recall seeing the chili-lime corn cobs at WDW. I took a quick look through the 2014 confirmed DDP snack list up on the WDW board and didn't see it listed. So it looks like that might be something that is unique to DLR.

I do think it's all about how "fresh" (aka hot) the churros are because DLR uses Tio Peppes Frozen Pastry Stixs. I saw boxes of them being delivered to the churro cart in NOS. I don't know if WDW uses the same brand, but I agree that it's all a matter of fresh/hot they are when you get it.
